Vadym Prystaiko: The only progress since the Paris Summit that has been achieved is in the release of detained individuals

mfa: Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Pristaiko met with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas at Munich Security Conference

The main point of attention is the unsatisfactory state of implementation of the agreements reached by the leaders of the Normandy Four during the Paris Summit. Vadym Prystaiko stressed that the actual progress was achieved only in terms of releasing the detained individuals. The negotiations regarding a ceasefire, the Red Cross access to the occupied territories, the 24-hour monitoring by the OSCE mission remain unimplemented by the Russian authorities.

The colleagues discussed the necessary steps to prepare for the next summit, which was agreed in Paris.

The parties also discussed the bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Germany.
