Ukraine’s scouting organization Plast marks 108th anniversary. Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine stated: “We are very proud to be involved in the organization’s success story and to be proud to see growing potential of Plast, and to see more and more young Ukrainians in every region of our country are becoming its members”.
On behalf of the Government of Ukraine the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal congratulated Plast members on the occasion: “On April 12, 1912 in Lviv members of the Scout Organization took their first oath.This day in Ukraine is considered to be the Day of the establishment of Ukrainian Plast. I am glad that last year the government finally recognized the National Scout Movement. And the Government as the highest executive body will contribute to its support and further development.
The main tasks of Plast and mission of the organization are to educate the young generation through interesting and fun activities, camps and competitions, physically, spiritually, and patriotic.
Successful stories of Plast members inspire and motivate to keep moving when it’s difficult, to be constantly involved in self-development, to do good actions for the development of Ukraine.
