Vaticannews: During a meeting with the Vatican devotees on Sunday, December 8, 2019, Pope Francis dedicated a few words to the meeting of the leaders of the so-called “Normandy Four” scheduled for Monday.
He said: “Tomorrow in Paris will be a meeting of the presidents of Ukraine, Russia and France and the Federal Chancellor of Germany, known as the “Normandy format”, in order to find a solution to the terrible conflict, lasted for many years in eastern Ukraine. I support the meeting with my prayers, persistent prayers, because there is a need for peace, and I encourage you to do the same.”
As we reported earlier, on 9 December, a summit will be held in Paris with the participation of the leaders of France, Ukraine, Germany and Russia.
