Memmingen Airport is slowly restarting its services. On Saturday, an aircraft took off and landed for the first time since regular flight operations were suspended, the airport announced. Further flights are scheduled to depart soon. In Memmingen, only passengers with a ticket are allowed to enter the terminal, anti-spitting devices are installed at the counters, and strict hygiene regulations are also in place on board the aircraft. Further flights to Sofia as well as to Varna in Bulgaria and Kyiv in Ukraine are planned.
The situation is being complicated by political problems, the resignation of the government, declining popularity of President Zelenskyj and mistakes made by his unprofessional team.
